This 16B British Standard (Metric) straight sidebar roller chain is a high quality chain and has straight sidebars/ side plates instead of the standard curved/ figure 8 sidebars. Having straight sidebars slightly increases the strength, fatigue, and working life of the chain. This chain can run on ISO standard 16B sprockets. Straight sidebar roller chains are commonly used in bottling, car washes, citrus processing, conveyors, material handling, packaging, poultry processing, refineries, seafood processing, and a wide range of other applications. This chain is most commonly supplied in 10ft boxes including one connecting link per box, but we can also supply this chain at custom lengths as needed.
