Bronze jaw coupling inserts go between two L190 hubs, prevent a steel-on-steel contact, and allow for a slight misalignment between two shafts. When replacing a coupling assembly, it is essential to note that the oil-impregnated L190B bronze inserts are ideal for high-torque but low-speed applications.
